When I participated in the artist-in-residence, instead of "creating a work, taking it to the exhibition space, and presenting it", I felt that "sharing my work with the people who live there" is important for me. That is meaningful for me who handles daily necessities. Changing the place of residence also means that what you need in your daily life is different.

I think that making and exploring while living locally in the residence program has great significance for my own production in the past and present.

アーティスト・イン・レジデンスに参加した際、それまでの「作品を制作して展示空間へ持って行き発表する」のではなく「生活をする場を移して制作し、その場を日常とする人々と作品を共有する」ということが、日用品を扱う自身の制作にとって重要であると感じた。居住の場を変えるということは、日常で必要とするものが異なるということでもある。

レジデンスプログラムで現地で生活をしながら制作をする、探究をするということは、過去ならびに現在の自身の制作に大きな意味を持つと考えている。
